Michael is a fierce competitor and a dedicated student of the human body.  Michael grew up playing sports and has always loved being active.  His first introduction into CrossFit was during his tour in Iraq.  He didn’t know what CrossFit was at the time, but he did a competition among his peers that consisted of burpees, sit-ups, pull-ups and running.  After taking a pre-workout that day and throwing up he never wanted to do it again.

It wasn’t until 2011 when recovering from an ACL tear that Michael knew he needed to train differently.  He stepped foot into a CrossFit gym and was instantly hooked when the competing began.  Michael is CrossFit Level I Certified.
